The team of attorneys of «AM» Law Firm went to Paris in order to hand over to their client the manuscript costing 500,000€ returned with a difficult court victory. As a result of the deal concluded 12 years ago and the court proceedings lasted 6 years, Andre Lecamus, French citizen received his property.
In 2005, Andre Lecamus ordered to make a copy of the old manuscript of the ” The Very Rich Hours of the Duke of Berry “. The customer paid the money, but the executor refused to hand over the manuscript to the customer. Already in 2011, Andre Lecamus filed a lawsuit in the Court of Common Jurisdiction of Ajapnyak and Davtashen Administrative Districts, as a result of which a decision was taken to make a confiscation from Sergey Okoev in favor of Andre Lecamus. At the stage of compulsory enforcement of the judgment, a confiscation was imposed on Sergey Okoev’s duplicate manuscript. However, enforcement proceedings were suspended due to the absence of a licensed specialist to evaluate the manuscript. It was necessary to determine its approximate market value for seizure and sale of manuscript.
A professional lawyer’s team of «AM» Law Firm headed by company’s advocate Levon Sahakyan was able to find an expert with relevant knowledge, which estimated the market value of manuscript 500,000 euros. The manuscript, in the manner prescribed by the law, was submitted to a compulsory electronic auction. During the auction, in October 2017, «AM» Law Firm submitted an application on handing over a manuscript to a debtor, Andre Lecamus, for a debt, and the compulsory enforcement officer Suren Hovhannisyan, who had a high professional knowledge, decided to hand over the manuscript to the debtor.
A few days later, all three specialists of «AM», involved in this difficult court case-Levon Sahakyan, Paytsar Kocharyan and Anna Mikayelyan, went to Paris and handed their client a precious manuscript returned by a difficult court victory.
